10D3R (pronounced “tender”) is the musical alias of prairie queer and transgender artist Bryce Maruk. A prolific writer and producer of music from an early age, Bryce experienced moderate success covering songs on her YouTube channel. Following university, Bryce established Orthicon, an audio/visual musical project steeped in queer signifiers and lyrical topics. Releasing a single EP in 2014, the act received radio airplay and opening slots for acclaimed international queer musical acts.
Having rarely released music to this point, Bryce quietly disbanded Orthicon in 2018 to focus on work and her upcoming gender transition. Following transition Bryce would emerge under a new alias, 10D3R, in order to rekindle her love of music. Thanks to the support of a growing online audience, Bryce found herself covering songs alongside musicians from around the world. Her time creating covers led Bryce to re-examine music she recorded in the earliest days of her career, leading to the release of three compilations chronicling her musical output throughout the 2010’s.
A versatile producer and performer, Bryce has experience writing for commercial clients including short and feature-length films. 10D3R continues to write and produce original music.
